A Journey in the Footsteps of Art …
Art is a way of life for me, a form of expression, and a way of making sense of the world. Making sense of every moment, every sound, every image, and being able to convey these to others is one of the things I value most in my life. I am an artist passionately committed to exploring art in all its forms and accompanying people on this journey.
My first encounter with art began in my early childhood. I grew up with a desire to observe things, to notice what was hidden in the details and what lay beyond the visible. This passion drew me to the heart of art. My undergraduate education in Cinema and Television led me to different art forms such as photography, video production, sound, and music design. The master’s program and workshops I attended at the Vienna Academy of Fine Arts, combined with industry experience, gave me a unique language of expression in every stage of the creative process, driven by my quest to tell a story. The projects I worked on at the Ankara Art Theater and State Theaters also enriched my theatrical journey, bringing the dramatic arts into my identity. Since 2015, working under the umbrella of the State Theaters, both in plays in the repertoire and at international festivals, as the Director in Charge, being involved in the production process of visual, audio, and written materials has made a difference in my career and perspective with its public working principles.
Throughout my career, the foundation of my artistic practice has been to bring together visual and auditory arts, aiming to offer people a deeper experience by strengthening inter-subject relationships. In my photographs, I try to capture the magic of the moment, while in my videos, I aim to best convey the emotional impact of a story. In my sound and music work, I enjoy going beyond words to transform feelings into a melody, a note. For me, art is not just an expression, but also a process of discovery. I want the people I touch to experience their own catharsis in this process, blending their identity with art and discovering their reason for being.

Aytan Art is a reflection of this journey. Here, I present the works I create using different media tools from both a personal and universal perspective. Through my photographs, videos, and music, I want to take the viewer on an emotional journey and give them a different perspective.
I believe that art is the most powerful way to form emotional bonds, bring people together, and see the world through different eyes. This site is a platform to celebrate a life intertwined with art and to inspire others. With each piece, I hope to leave a mark on the viewer’s heart.
